Nick started in the construction industry in 2002. He worked in the parts department for a construction equipment vendor. A few years later, Nick put his experience with parts and inventory management to work for Kelpe Contracting. In February of 2005, Nick was hired on to merge and organize the parts and equipment between Kelpe Contracting and its sister company, McFry Excavating. Nick organized a parts and equipment database that improved the overall efficiency of the shop operations. In March of 2008, Nick was offered a position as the Service and Fleet Manger. He is still managing the heavy equipment shop today. Nick has earned his Associates Degree in Technology from Ranken Technical College in 2002. When Nick isn’t working, he enjoys woodworking and spending time with his wife and boys.
