Working Diligently to Create Bold Outdoor Spaces

The Art of Worksite Integration

Kelpe Contracting can take on the kind of projects others can’t.

We have decades of experience working regularly with municipalities, developers, and park services to build and renovate public parks and trails. Our park and trail experts can help through all phases of construction, creating beautiful recreational areas for communities to enjoy.

We have developed parks, created pedestrian trails, installed sculptures, installed monuments, and much more!  Some of our park and trail work can be seen at Bluebird Park, the Wren Trail, Pecan Legacy Park, St. Frances State Park, and Wildwood Greenway to name a few.

Kelpe Contracting’s park and trail construction services include:

  • Excavation
  • Sloping and Grading
  • Pathway Construction
  • Asphalt Trail Paving
  • Decorative Flat Work
  • Pedestrian Bridges

Kelpe Contracting, Inc. has the knowledge and ability to create fantastic outdoor public spaces.

Natural

The goal of every parks and trails project is to enhance the utility of the site while preserving the natural beauty of the space.

Our qualified, experienced project managers, operators, and excavators strive to create parks and trails that match and conform to the natural contours of the land, resulting in projects that fit into nature, feel authentic and look beautiful.

Preservation

Our parks and trails projects offer unique challenges as they are often remote, difficult to access, or run through previously developed neighborhoods. Such projects require creative problem-solving solutions in terms of logistics, moving materials on and off site, and usually require complex excavation procedures to ensure the natural surroundings are not damaged.

Kelpe has taken on many projects involving the installation of prefabricated pedestrian bridges, tunnels and walkways. We pride ourselves on our ability to seamlessly incorporate these structures into preexisting natural and landscaped areas.
